It is interesting, that Wieliczka Salt Mine has a great contribution to the expansion of national economy. It is recognized as the most ancient brand from Poland. The mine was the prime enterprise that place a trademark on their manufactures. Being more precise, the label used to emerge on the purest and most white salt destined to the royal family. The predestination of the product was the cause of tagging the barrels with the image of the Royal Eagle. The coat of arms didn’t modify since the Middle Ages – that is an excellent instance of reserving tradition and keeping in mind the high standard and reliability of the mine.
